Directions

From Westchester County and points South:
Take I-684 north to I-84 west
Follow directions from I-84 west (below).

From Danbury, CT, Brewster, NY, and points East:
Take I-84 west
After crossing into NY State, take exit 19 “Carmel”
At the traffic light at end of ramp, turn right onto Rt. 312 south
At the second traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 6 west
After the third traffic light, you will drive up a slight hill (you are getting close)
At the top of the hill (next traffic light), turn left at the lake continuing on Rt. 6 west
At the next traffic light turn left on Church St.
Travel one short block and Gilead will be on your far left corner
Just past the church building, the parking lot is on your left (just before the Mason’s Lodge)
Travel time from Danbury, CT is about 20-25 minutes.

From Mahopac, NY:
Take Rte. 6 east toward Carmel
About 2 miles past the West Branch Reservoir Dam, turn right at first light onto Church Street
Travel one short block and Gilead will be on your far left corner
Just past the church building, the parking lot is on your left (just before the Mason’s Lodge)

From points North or West:
Take I-87 or the Taconic State Parkway to I-84 east
Take exit 19 “Carmel”
At the traffic light at end of ramp, turn right onto Rt. 312 south
At the first traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 6 west

Taking the Train?
Gilead Presbyterian Church is also convenient to the Southeast (formerly Brewster North) railroad station, located on the Harlem River line of the Metro-North Commuter Railroad.

From Southeast Station:
Follow the road from the train station to Rt. 312
Turn left onto Rt. 312 south
At the first traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 6 west
After the third traffic light, you will drive up a slight hill (you are getting close)

At the next traffic light turn left on Church Street
